Glen Woolgar

Performer | Production Manager

Glen graduated from the University of Wollongong sometime in the last century and banged around the traps for a few years playing various characters in many plays (some of which toured the country) up until 2004.  Not long after that, he reluctantly retired from treading the boards in the interests of getting paid a decent enough wage so that he could sign his life away to a mortgage and raise a family.  He was dragged out of retirement by his good friend Tim Allen to perform as Antonio and the Priest in Much Ado About Nothing at the Wollongong Botanic Gardens, followed by Gratiano in The Merchant of Venice.  Now well and truly back in the game, Glen is a founding member of Wollongong Theatre Company, having played Burgundy in Lear and also acting as Stage Manager for that production.  Most recently he played “A” in George Bernard Shaw’s short play Village Wooing.
